Alexander Kravtsov, Director General

Mr. Kravtsov has more than 20 years’ experience in developing and executing public affairs, reputation and issues management, government relations, corporate positioning and market entry strategies and programs in Russia, other countries of the former Soviet Union, Western Europe and the United States. Since 2011, he has served as Senior Counselor of APCO Worldwide for the region of the former Soviet Union, providing public affairs and government relations services to the firm’s clients in Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.

In 2009-2011, Mr. Kravtsov held a position of Vice President for Public Affairs at the Moscow office of The PBN Company (currently, PBN H+K Strategies). Previously, he was project director for international communications at Basic Element, one of Russia’s largest and most diversified corporations. Earlier in his career, he served as director of communications for the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia, and held senior management positions in communications consultancies. In these positions, he managed projects and assignments in countries of the former Soviet Union, Western Europe and in the United States.

Alexander has an undergraduate degree in Philology from Moscow State University and a master's degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University (Washington, D.C.).

Alexander Pesov, Senior Advisor

Alexander Pesov has had a distinguished career in public sector, media and private business. He enjoys a well-established network of contacts within public and private sector, as well as media and academia in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia and the Baltic States.

Prior to his retirement from the civil service in the spring of 2013, he served as Vice Governor of the Voronezh Oblast and representative among federal state bodies. In this capacity, he coordinated relations with all legislative and executive federal entities. Since he joined civil service in 1998, his other positions included Head of Secretariat of the Ministry of Agriculture, Advisor to Prime Minister and Aide to Deputy Prime Minister.

Prior to that, he worked in the media, as reporter and editor covering science, culture and sports at RIA Novosti and TASS, among other news agencies. He also worked as advisor to multinational corporations operating in the countries of the former Soviet Union.

Mr. Pesov is a graduate of Biology Department of the Moscow State University.

Aydar Zhumabaev, Policy Advisor (Kazakhstan)

Aydar Zhumabaev possesses thorough understanding and working knowledge of the policy and media scene in Kazakhstan.

His current responsibilities include memberships in the President of Kazakhstan’s National Council and Media Council, as well as chairing the Broadcasting Association of Kazakhstan. In 2003-2009, Mr. Zhumabaev was Director General of the Kazakhstan branch of the International Broadasting company “Mir.” Earlier, he was Editor-in-Chief of Tan TV and Radio Company, Director General of NTK TV Channel, Chairman of the International Journalism Center.

Aydar Zhumabaev graduated from the Maxim Gorky Literature Institute (Moscow, Russia).

Denis Raspopov, Policy Advisor

Denis Raspopov is an established political and election campaign advisor in Russia and Ukraine. He has a wide network of relations within public offices at the federal and regional levels, and has long-established working relations with a number of Deputies of the Russian Federation State Duma and Governors.

Since 2006, Mr. Raspopov has managed election campaigns and special political projects in Russia and Ukraine, including regional campaigns in St. Petersburg City and Leningrad Oblast, Yekaterinburg, Saratov, Moscow Oblast, Krasnodar Krai, and many others. In this capacity, he was responsible for the overall strategy development and execution, opinion research, media relations, and interaction with federal authorities.

In 2006, Mr. Raspopov was Communications Director at Akrikhin, a leading Russian pharmaceutical company, responsible for development and execution of corporate affairs and product support strategies.

Prior to that, he worked in leading Russian communications agencies, providing media and communications assistance to public and private sector clients.

Mr. Raspopov is a graduate of the Journalism Department of the Moscow State University.

Tatiana Nikulshina, Trainer and Crisis Communications Counselor

Tatiana works with Nexus Eurasia to provide its clients with best-in-class media, presentation and public speaking trainings, as well as to develop and execute crisis preparedness and response programs. She possesses 20 years of experience in public relations and strategic communications for Russian and International companies including Citi, NYSE, MegaFon, EU Delegation in Russia, BP, Boeing, US Treasury, Statoil, etc.

At different times Tatiana served as Managing Director, Vice President for Client Services, Client Service Director, Senior Account Manager at The PBN Company, CEO, Mint/Pleon Russia (BBDO Group in Russia) and PR Manager at XEROX, Creditanstalt-Grant Investment Bank.

Tatiana graduated from the Russian State Humanitarian University.
